Shades of Serenity is a youth-centered nonprofit committed to building safer, stronger communities through prevention, education, and opportunity. We serve young people ages 12–25 with structured, trauma-informed programming that addresses violence prevention, mental health awareness, public health education, and workforce development.
Our work is grounded in the belief that prevention must be proactive and opportunity must be intentional. Through our iSHIELD Horizons initiative, we equip youth with practical skills, leadership development, and exposure to career pathways in behavioral health, public health, and STEM fields. We partner with schools, families, community organizations, and professionals to create safe environments where young people can learn, grow, and prepare for long-term success.
At Shades of Serenity, we focus on structure, accountability, and measurable impact. Every program is designed to strengthen protective factors, reduce risk, and open doors to education and employment.
We are more than a program—we are a collaborative movement committed to empowering the next generation to lead with resilience, responsibility, and purpose.
